The personal touch of picking me up from the train station was greatly appreciated. The rooms were beautifully decorated in an old Italian style, giving them a unique charm. The breakfast room had an amazing view of the picturesque countryside. And let's not forget about the delicious freshly baked cake that was served every morning - such a treat!

The unpaved road leading up to the hotel can be difficult to navigate at times.

The countryside views were delightful and really made the location what it was. the pool was also a great way to cool off in the heat. It was great to find nearby restaurants for day trips out.

It was Easter and we found that some staff seemed tired and maybe a little less attentive. the WiFi was a major disappointment as it was only accessible in certain areas of the room.
